£200 per day (6 hours)

I run private one-to-one classes. These can be taken over a day or broken down over a few days/weeks. In this time we can work on the basics of WordPress or Dreamweaver on a design of your choice.

One or Two Day Lessons - Small group £350 per day

We spend one or two days in which we can work together on a design using Dreamweaver, HTML or WordPress.

We can discuss your web design ideas, and depending on your choice of programme - Dreamweaver, Blogger.com, WordPress - we will work on your design and layout from day one.

Dreamweaver logoAdobe Dreamweaver is an application used by web designers and developers to create websites and applications for use across multiple targets including browsers, devices, and tablets. Web designers use Dreamweaver to create professional and adaptable websites. As far as design goes Dreamweaver will really allow you to create the site of your choice. Although some knowledge of HTML is recommended to really get the most out of Dreamweaver, you can also produce an excellent design just using the WYSIWYG interface.

One or two day website design training will focus on the use of good HTML coding practices to create web pages, made easier with the use of Adobe Dreamweaver. This training is an enjoyable and accessible introduction to web page design. The use of jpg/png images, HTML and Cascading Style Sheets is introduced on a one day course. A two day course will give you even more confidence to really manage and enhance your own web site and allow more time to tweak your design.

WordPress logoWordPress is not just a blog. WordPress is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP. In lay person speak, it’s probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today. And it's free!

WordPress can be downloaded for self-hosted installations from WordPress.org. This is the more customisable installation but you will need to get a host such as 123.Reg that supports WordPress, and a domain name such as www.myname.co.uk. WordPress will then be forwarded to this domain name so creating a more professional impression.

WordPress can also be used as a hosted service via WordPress.com. This is the slightly less flexible installation and the web address will include wordpress.com as part of the address. This would be fine if you wanted to create a website for a hobby for example.

You may already have a WordPress site that you need to learn how to add content to or you may wish to create a site from scratch but without the need to write lengthy HTML or buy expensive web design programmes.

Please ask for a detailed Dreamweaver/Web Design Course Content Sheet to select what you would like to learn.
